  • Mobile Device Access. We may request access or permission to certain features from your mobile device, including your mobile device’s microphone, camera, storage and other features. If you wish to change our access or permissions, you may do so in your device’s settings. 

 

  • Push Notifications. We may request to send you push notifications regarding your account or certain features of the application(s). If you wish to opt out from receiving these types of communications, you may turn them off in your device’s settings. 

This information is primarily needed to maintain the security and operation of our application(s), for troubleshooting, and for our internal analytics and reporting purposes. 

Information Automatically Collected

Some information — such as your Internet Protocol (IP) address and/or browser and device characteristics — is collected automatically when you visit our services.

We automatically collect certain information when you visit, use, or navigate the services. This information does not reveal your specific identity (like your name or contact information) but may include device and usage information, such as your IP address, browser and device characteristics, operating system, language preferences, referring URLs, device name, country, location, information about how and when you use our services, and other technical information. However, it’s important to note that this information need not correspond to your real identity. Perq does not require the provision of such information for basic usage of our services. Any PII corresponding to your real identity provided by you is done so voluntarily and at your own discretion.

  • To facilitate account creation and authentication and otherwise manage user accounts. We may process your information so you can create and log in to you account, as well as keep your account in working order. 
  • To deliver and facilitate delivery of services to the user. We may process your information to provide you with the  requested service. 
  • To respond to user enquiries, offer support to users. We may process your information to respond to your requests and solve any potential issues you might have. 
  • To send administrative information to you. We may process your information to send you details about our products and services, changes to your terms and policies, and other similar information. 
  • To fulfil and manage your orders made through our services. 
  • To enable user-to-user communications if you choose to use any of our offerings that allow for communication with another user.

User Guidelines

Review and Moderation of User content

Our administrators will manually review reported content to determine whether it violates our terms of service or community guidelines. Content that is found to be in violation may be removed from the platform. Our review process aims to maintain a safe and respectful environment for all users, while also upholding the principles of freedom of expression and user-generated content.

Handling of Reported Data

Reports submitted by users, including any accompanying information or personal data provided by the reporting user, may be stored and processed by Perq for the purpose of content moderation and enforcement of our terms of service. We handle reported data in accordance with our privacy policy and applicable data protection laws.

User Responsibility

Users who choose to report content should do so responsibly and in good faith, providing accurate information and avoiding misuse of the reporting feature for personal gain or harassment. False or malicious reports may result in disciplinary action against the reporting user. 

Third Parties

We may share your data with third-party vendors, service providers, contractors, or agents who perform services for us or on our behalf and require access to such information to do that work. We have contracts in place with our third parties, which are designed to help safeguard your personal information. This means that they cannot do anything with your personal information unless we have instructed them to do it. 

They will also not share your personal information with any organisation apart from us. They also commit to protect the data they hold on our behalf and to retain it for the period we instruct. The categories of third parties we may share personal information with are as follows:

We will only keep your personal information for as long as it is necessary for the purposes set out in this privacy notice, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law (such as tax, accounting, or other legal requirements). No purpose in this notice will require us to keep your personal information for longer than one (1) months past the termination of the user’s account.

When we have no ongoing legitimate business need to process your personal information, we will either delete or anonymise such information, or, if this is not possible (for example, because your personal information has been stored in backup archives), then we will securely store your personal information and isolate it from any further processing until deletion is possible.

We aim to protect your personal information through a system of organisational and technical security measures.
